Turkish basketball team Besiktas informed that the former NBA player Allen Iverson will return to Turkey in February, after undergoing surgery in the United States.
The attorney for former NBA star, Gary Moore, said the player will be operated in the United States to remove him a right leg injury, and then return to the playoffs to play Besiktas in the Turkish league championships.
Besiktas spokesman, Kürşat Kaplan, said Thursday that Iverson will return to Turkey next month and he made his rehabilitation.
Iverson, former NBA MVP signed a contract with Besiktas for two years and four million dollars.
