The Atlanta Braves have discharged fielder Melky Cabrera and reliever Takashi Saito. Also removed from his roster of 40 players to minor league catcher, JC Boscan.
Cabrera batted .255 with four homers in 147 games for the Braves in 2010. At times it looked lazy on the field and was disappointed the team with his defense. The 26 year old outfielder hit .274 with 13 homers in 154 games in 2009 for the Yankees.
