The National Master Carlos Enrique Ramírez was crowned champion in the Azua Provincial Tournament 2011, organized by the local Chess Association and supported by the Dominican Federation of that discipline.
Ramirez won his seventh title in the last 20 versions of this classic, made in the context of patriotic festivities commemorating the historic feat waged in this province.
